About Me
About Me
My name is Kevin Miller. I am a Washington State certificated teacher, and have been a general classroom teacher, primarily in first grade, for 10 years. I am LETRS-trained in structured literacy and the science of reading. I love helping children learn how to read! I recently decided to add a reading specialist endorsement to my teaching certificate and focus specifically on reading instruction. Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time in nature, reading good books, and hanging out with family and friends.

My instruction is rooted in the science of reading and structured literacy. Every student's instructional plan is tailed to their specific needs based on assessment data. The combination of structured literacy instruction and targeted support allows me to achieve strong outcomes.
